FREE Dew Tour Ticket Reservations Now Open

Tickets are required to enter the event area where you can visit vendors, purchase merchandise, and use the pump track.

Dew Tour will be showcasing the top skaters from around the globe in the new Lauridsen Skatepark. Expect to watch the top-ranked skateboarders compete for a chance to represent their country in park and street disciplines. Parts of the skatepark will be open to the public, so bring a skateboard! Also, be sure to check out Dew Tour Experience, where vendors will have giveaways and free samples.

Reservations can be made for specified time slots each day. Only one reservation may be made per person, per day—maximum group size of 6. A reservation does not guarantee viewing or seating. All activities are on a first-come, first-serve basis. After your session window has expired, you may be asked to leave the venue.

For entry, participant(s) must agree to wear a two-layered mask at all times, complete a COVID-19 liability waiver and health assessment, and adhere to all Dew Tour health and safety guidelines.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please email info@dewtour.com with your confirmation number, which session and how many tickets you want to cancel. Once the tickets are released from your reservation, you will be able to make new reservations. Reserve your tickets here.

TICKET DETAILS

Dew Tour has always been a free event open to the public. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will offer FREE tickets via the Dew Tour website.  To remain in compliance with state and local COVID guidelines, there will be dedicated sessions/time slots per day for entry, and only one reservation may be made per day, per person. No one may enter the venue without a free ticket.
Reserving free tickets will allow fans onto the public skate courses as well as to first come, first served sectioned spectator viewing areas located on the grassy bank, which will be separated into six-person pods. The time slots will be enforced by colored wristbands as well as a team who will be working within the spectator areas.  Please visit DewTour.com for all rules around seating areas.
Also included in fans’ ticket access is the Dew Tour Experience, a festival-style area that will be spread out throughout 2nd Avenue between Center Street and School Street in Des Moines. The Dew Tour Experience will offer a large, socially distanced and safe area for fans to enjoy fun and free event partner activations.
Social distancing and masks will be required in all areas of the venue. In addition, a health questionnaire and COVID-19 release will be required by everyone entering the venue.

Q: How can I attend?
Dew Tour Des Moines will take place at the Lauridsen Skatepark. The event is free to the public; however, ticket registration is required.

Q: Will I have to leave the venue after my session is complete?
Generally, No. But you will lose priority access to Spectator Viewing, Public Skate and Dew Tour Experience to the next active session as determined by colored credential. If capacity is reached or under direction from the fire marshal, Dew Tour staff may be required to ask the previous session to depart the venue. We ask for your understanding and compliance if this scenario should arise. Dew Tour will accommodate all guests as best we can!

Q: Can I bring my skateboard?
Yes!  But please be respectful of other guests. There are designated skating areas for the public and those are the only specific zones for skating. Please do not ride your skateboard aggressively in the Dew Tour Experience      or in the spectator viewing areas. If security or venue staff asks you to walk your board, please comply.

Q: Where is Dew Tour taking place?
The 2021 Summer Dew Tour will be hosted at the brand new Lauridsen Skatepark (901 2nd Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309), located in downtown Des Moines at the Principal Riverwalk’s northern edge. It is an 88,000 square foot, Olympic-grade skatepark built by our friends and partners at California Skateparks!

Entrance to Dew Tour will be at the Rotary Riverwalk Park (821 W River Dr, Des Moines, IA 50309).

Q: Is this an Olympic Qualifying Event?
Yes! Dew Tour Des Moines is a global Olympic Qualifying event (and the only global qualifier on US soil)  for both street and park skateboarding competitions for Tokyo. Athletes will generate points to help them earn a spot on their country’s Olympic team.

Q: How will Dew Tour be handling COVID-19 protocols?
We will be welcoming a limited number of fans into the venue each day via a free ticket that needs to be reserved on Dew Tour App. Check back for updates, in the meantime, plan on the following:

  • Wearing a mask –Facemasks are mandatory for anyone attending the event over the age of two. Face coverings must meet CDC recommendations and cover mouth and nose at all times. Bandanas or one-layered gaiters are not
  • Daily health assessments – All spectators are required to complete a COVID-19 liability waiver and health assessment before entering the venue. Please be patient and arrive early to allow time for this process.
  • Socially distancing– That’s why we’re limiting entry each day.
  • Keeping clean – You’ll see sanitizing stations all over our venue.

Q: If someone is already fully vaccinated, will they have to wear a mask or complete any assessments?
Yes, Guests who are fully or partially vaccinated will be required to wear a mask and complete a COVID-19 liability waiver and health assessment form before entering the venue. It is important to note that national protocols are changing rapidly. We are following all trends/rules as they apply to COVID protocols. 

Q: Where can I buy VIP tickets?
VIP Tickets will not be available for this year’s event.

Q: Will there be food?
Unfortunately, due to COVID, food will not be served at Dew Tour, this year. Food may also not be brought in unless it is a medical or religious requirement or for infants. Factory-sealed drinks may be brought in.

Q: Will there be drinks?
Only water will be available as a daily offering. Sponsors such as Mountain Dew may be sampling their goods throughout the day!

Q: Where can I buy merchandise?
There will be merchandise available on site, but Dew Tour merchandise is also available for purchase in the Dew Tour Store.

Q: Is there ADA Viewing?
Yes, there will be ADA viewing platforms available at both street and park venues in the spectator areas. Please check with the Guest Services tent in the venue for more information on-site or follow signs to the designated areas. ADA viewing is plus-one, only.

Q: What will be taking place at Dew Tour?
Men’s and Women’s Park and Street competitions will be taking place throughout the day. In addition, the Dew Tour Experience (DTE) is where our partners and brands will offer free giveaways and more. In DTE, you will find the skateboard pump track. The Lauridsen Skatepark will be partially open for the public.  Helmets are required at all times. Q: Will there be any music performances?
At this year’s Dew Tour, there will not be any live music.

  • Parking is located in the      Iowa Events Center parking lot between 3rd Street and 5th Avenue, just north of the convention center. Parking is $10 per car.
  • ADA Parking is located in the Iowa Events Center parking lot.
  • ADA Dropoff/Pick Up can occur off of 3rd Street at either Park or Center Streets.
  • The Entrance is located in Rotary Riverwalk Park (821 W River Dr, Des Moines, IA 50309) adjacent to the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge, just east of the Wells Fargo Center. The entrance is approximately 7 minutes walking from the parking lot.
  • All bags and persons entering the Dew Tour venues are subject to search. Bags larger than 15″ square, i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the venue.
  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are not allowed at the Dew Tour: any promotional signage, large bags (larger than a standard sized backpack- 17in h x 13in w x 8.5in d), weapons, alcohol, coolers, pets (working animals accepted); folding chairs, drones or any radio controlled equipment, professional filming or photography equipment, large umbrellas, laser-lights, noisemakers, i.e. air-horns; glass bottles, aluminum cans or beverages of any kind in unsealed containers.
  • Guests may not bring food or beverages into the venue. Exceptions are factory-sealed plastic bottled water, one liter or smaller. Food or beverages deemed necessary due to a special dietary need, religious requirement or medical condition may be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department at info@dewtour.com. Food for infants is allowed.
  • Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the venue or return items to their vehicles. Guest Services will not check-in any food or beverage items.
  • Posters and banners of any size are not allowed in the venue.
  • There is a self-service bicycle area near the entrance. This area is not staffed and all bicycles must be locked in this area. Bicycles are not allowed beyond the main entrance area. Dew Tour is not responsible for lost or stolen sports equipment of any kind.
  • Limited Stroller parking is available adjacent to the viewing area. Strollers are not allowed in the seating areas. Please take all personal items and belongings out of your stroller when leaving it unattended at Stroller parking. Strollers will be left at the risk of the guest.
  • Guests must wear shirts and shoes. No bare feet allowed.
  • The Dew Tour is a Non-Smoking event. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes of any kind.
  • The Dew Tour prohibits the use of any drugs or paraphernalia on site, including cannabis.
  • The Dew Tour is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods.
  • The Dew Tour reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
  • The Guest Services Tent adjacent to the entrance is the designated meeting place if persons in your party are separated from your family or group.
  • No commercial photography is allowed without a Dew Tour press credential. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized prior to arrival. Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: Lenses greater than three and one half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. Dew Tour media officials must clear all wireless equipment.
  • All existing Lauridsen Skatepark policies may be enforced.
  • Skateboarding is allowed onsite, but only in designated areas. Please be mindful  or other spectators when skateboarding. All spectators and skateboarders enter the venue at their own risk.

 Guest Services Tent
Guest Services is the designated area for all event information and event services. The Dew Tour Guest Services tent is located adjacent to the      Main Entrance to Dew Tour. Merchandise will also be sold in this area.

General Ticketing Information
Dew Tour is free and open to the public, however ticket registration is required via the Dew Tour App.

Transportation
The Lauridsen Skatepark is located at 901 2nd Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309.

Please visit the Iowa Event Center website for detailed driving directions to the venue. Information on public transportation is available at ridedart.com.

Parking
Suggested Public Parking is accessed from 3rd Street or 5th Avenue and will be $10, per space, per vehicle. There is no in-and-out parking. There is no overnight parking available. To reference parking locations please visit: catchdesmoines.com/visitor-info/transportation/parking/.

Public Skate Park
Part of the Dew Tour Experience includes a public skate park. This park is open during Dew Tour hours and is located within the venue near the competition courses. There will be capacity regulations and all participants must wear a helmet.

 Accessible Information
ADA Parking will be readily available in all surrounding parking lots, however the most accessible parking for the event is located in the Iowa Event Center parking lot. Please visit iowaeventscenter.com/plan-your-visit/directions-parking.

ADA Viewing is available at all competition venues. Look for signage or check with Guest Services for more information.

Dew Tour Des Moines will take place at the Lauridsen Skatepark. The event is free to the public, however ticket registration is required.

  • Due to Covid Restrictions, reservations must be made on the Dew Tour App.  See below for reservation windows.  Policies regarding entry and COVID mitigation may change daily. Check for updates at Dewtour.com or on the app prior to departing for the event.
  • If you are feeling sick, running a fever, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay at home until you are healthy.
  • All spectators are required to complete a COVID-19 liability waiver and health assessment before entering the venue.
  • Face coverings are required for entry into venue. Face coverings must be two-layered and cover both nose and mouth at all times.
  • Only one reservation may be made per day, per person.
  • A reservation does not guarantee viewing or seating or activities as they are on a first come, first served basis. Some viewing may be partially obstructed.
  • Viewing will be divided into sectioned pods on the lawn. Pods are capped at 6 people and locations are first come, first serve. Lawn chairs are not permitted, blankets are allowed and encouraged.
  • Onsite priority to Spectator Viewing, Public Skate and Dew Tour Experience (DTE) are given to guests within their reserved session/window.
  • After your session window has expired, you may not re-enter the main venue if you leave through any exit.
  • If capacity in a given area is reached, the space will operate with one out, one in. Expired sessions may be asked to exit the area.
  • Please be neighborly and considerate of fellow guests and the requests of Dew Tour staff to manage crowds and keep everyone safe during these challenging times. We want everyone to enjoy the event, please be respectful of the spectator viewing sessions and allow all attendees to enjoy this olympic qualifier for skateboarding. We thank you in advance!
  • Parking is located in the      Iowa Events Center parking lot between 3rd Street and 5th Avenue, just north of the convention center. Parking is $10 per car.
  • ADA Parking is located in the Iowa Events Center parking lot.
  • ADA Dropoff/Pick Up can occur off of 3rd Street at either Park or Center Streets.
  • The Entrance is located in Rotary Riverwalk Park (821 W River Dr, Des Moines, IA 50309) adjacent to the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge, just east of the Wells Fargo Center. The entrance is approximately 7 minutes walking from the parking lot.
  • All bags and persons entering the Dew Tour venues are subject to search. Bags larger than 15″ square, i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the venue.
  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are not allowed at the Dew Tour: any promotional signage, large bags (larger than a standard sized backpack- 17in h x 13in w x 8.5in d), weapons, alcohol, coolers, pets (working animals accepted); folding chairs, drones or any radio controlled equipment, professional filming or photography equipment, large umbrellas, laser-lights, noisemakers, i.e. air-horns; glass bottles, aluminum cans or beverages of any kind in unsealed containers.
  • Guests may not bring food or beverages into the venue. Exceptions are factory-sealed plastic bottled water, one liter or smaller. Food or beverages deemed necessary due to a special dietary need, religious requirement or medical condition may be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department at info@dewtour.com. Food for infants is allowed.
  • Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the venue or return items to their vehicles. Guest Services will not check-in any food or beverage items.
  • Posters and banners of any size are not allowed in the venue.
  • There is a self-service bicycle area near the entrance. This area is not staffed and all bicycles must be locked in this area. Bicycles are not allowed beyond the main entrance area. Dew Tour is not responsible for lost or stolen sports equipment of any kind.
  • Limited Stroller parking is available adjacent to the viewing area. Strollers are not allowed in the seating areas. Please take all personal items and belongings out of your stroller when leaving it unattended at Stroller parking. Strollers will be left at the risk of the guest.
  • Guests must wear shirts and shoes. No bare feet allowed.
  • The Dew Tour is a Non-Smoking event. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes of any kind.
  • The Dew Tour prohibits the use of any drugs or paraphernalia on site, including cannabis.
  • The Dew Tour is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods.
  • The Dew Tour reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
  • The Guest Services Tent adjacent to the entrance is the designated meeting place if persons in your party are separated from your family or group.
  • No commercial photography is allowed without a Dew Tour press credential. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized prior to arrival. Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: Lenses greater than three and one half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. Dew Tour media officials must clear all wireless equipment.
  • All existing Lauridsen Skatepark policies may be enforced.
  • Skateboarding is allowed onsite, but only in designated areas. Please be mindful  or other spectators when skateboarding. All spectators and skateboarders enter the venue at their own risk.

GUEST SERVICES

 Guest Services Tent
Guest Services is the designated area for all event information and event services. The Dew Tour Guest Services tent is located adjacent to the      Main Entrance to Dew Tour. Merchandise will also be sold in this area.

General Ticketing Information
Dew Tour is free and open to the public, however ticket registration is required via the Dew Tour App.

Transportation
The Lauridsen Skatepark is located at 901 2nd Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309.

Parking

Public Skate Park
Part of the Dew Tour Experience includes a public skate park. This park is open during Dew Tour hours and is located within the venue near the competition courses. There will be capacity regulations and all participants must wear a helmet.

 Accessible Information
ADA Parking will be readily available in all surrounding parking lots, however the most accessible parking for the event is located in the Iowa Event Center parking lot. Please visit iowaeventscenter.com/plan-your-visit/directions-parking.

ADA Viewing is available at all competition venues. Look for signage or check with Guest Services for more information.
