The Lauridsen Skatepark parking lot is finished. The lot is located at 1111 Illinois Street, Des Moines 50314 where the Riverwalk Dog Park used to be. The parking lot is constructed to accommodate approximately 100 parking spaces. The lot includes, automatic closing gates when the park closes at 10:30pm, lighting, landscaping, storm water management devices such as porous pavers and bio-retention cells, public art, and site furnishings.
